We prioritize primary and authoritative sources. For health and safety, that includes NIH, NCCIH, FDA, PubMed-indexed papers and systematic reviews. For product formula and price, we use current manufacturer or merchant pages.
How we handle conflicts
If merchant marketing makes a stronger claim than independent evidence supports, we publish the merchant statement as a claim and describe the independent evidence separately.
